What it is
Halibut charters are built for people who have never fished. The boat supplies rods, bait, and usually the license. Homer is the town most people mean when they say halibut. The fish can be large, the ride can be long, and the skipper will tell you whether the day is a weather day. Many boats will fillet the catch.
