What it is
Big ships call at Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and sometimes Glacier Bay. Small ships get into tighter water and stay longer in fewer places. Both are real Alaska trips. Peak July cabins book the year before. If Glacier Bay is the reason, confirm the ship actually enters the park. Not every itinerary does.

Pick the ship size on purpose. Read which glaciers and parks are in the itinerary, not just the ports.
