What it is
Sixmile is the roadside classic. Three canyons, cold water, and operators who have been on it for decades. NOVA and Flow AK both run commercial trips out of the Hope area. The longer canyon days are for people who can swim and follow instructions. A swim test is normal. This is not a scenic float with a splash.
Before you go
Take the swim test seriously. Water level changes the grade. Dry suits are part of the trip.
