What it is
This is the one-day version of an Alaska cruise. You leave Seward, run down Resurrection Bay, and spend hours in Kenai Fjords National Park. Holgate and Aialik are the glaciers people hope will calve while they watch. Tours run about six to eight hours in summer. If you only do one boat trip from the road system, do this one.
Before you go
Wool or synthetic layers, not cotton. The best photos are outside. Eat before you get on.
